We created Bitches Who Brunch merchandise because the LGBTQ+ community deserves to have fun and be seen, but we would never want to achieve that mission at the expense of the most legendary mother of all time, Mother Earth. That’s why we choose eco-friendly manufacturers and take advantage of the newest technology to make sustainable appeal and decor.  

Print on demand revolution 

Older printing processes such as screen printing relied on bulk printing to achieve a profitable business model, producing waste if the inventory was never sold. Garment manufacturers alone throw away 13 billion tons of textiles globally every year, according to the Public Interest Network. 

Newer direct to garment printing can be done on demand. When an order is placed, an order is fulfilled. We’re like a waste-free fairy godmother! Direct to garment printing machines use water-based inks with fewer environmental toxins than other inks, and the process is also more energy efficient. 

Thoughtful materials 

Among our merchandise, you’ll find materials sourced with nature in mind. Our t-shirts are made with organic cotton, grown without the use of pesticides. The material feels more luxurious on your skin while also being safer for your body and the planet. 

Safe for vegan baddies

Our garment manufacturer is Vegan-Approved by PETA. That means not only are no animal products used in the manufacturing process, but also no animal testing and no practices that would be harmful to surrounding wildlife. 

We also have many other vegan friendly-options available, from soy wax candles to cruelty-free faux leather. 

It’s giving ‘leave no trace’

Biodegradable materials are the ultimate in ecologically-friendly manufacturing because in the end, we give them back to the earth in a cycle that mimics nature. Many of our wooden products are made with absolutely no plastic, and our biodegradable phone case will decompose within 160 days in a compost pile. Imagine fueling homegrown veggies with your phone’s musty old ‘fit! 

Compassionate global citizenship 

Not harming the environment is important, but we have higher goals than that. We never want our apparel and home decor to be created in exploitative or unsafe conditions, so we look into who we’re working with. Most of our manufacturers’ facilities are certified by the industry gold-standard Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production. WRAP certifies facilities based on their adherence to local laws and internationally recognized standards for workers’ rights.
